The main difference between Destructible labels and asset labels is the texture of these two products. Destructible labels are very fragile and designed to tear apart even with the slightest effort of tampering. Although asset labels will also turn to pieces if anyone tries to remove them from the surface, they are tougher and able to withstand much harsher conditions because their main purpose is to remain on the surface and not to be easily removed.
We use UV printing for all of our products including Destructible labels. This type of printing is resistant to all kinds of solvents (water, alcohol, gasoline, etc.) and is also very stable against direct sunlight. This is particularly important because using any kind of lamination or coating for color stability will cause this product to lose its purpose to show any sign of tampering so it might be even possible to remove it from the surface without any damage.
